Latest modeled portable USG and ECG machines along with it’s accessories like trolley and essential consumables were handed over to six health centres/hospitals of six districts namely Gokarneshwar Municipal Hospital(Kathmandu), Jalbire PHC (Sindhupalchok), Huwas Health Post(Parbat), Baireni Hospital(Dhading), Rampur Urban Health Center(Dang) and Dhakdhahi PHC(Rupandehi) through the mayor of concerned local government. The project was designed based on series of need assessment through questionnaires, visit and discussion with ministry of health and population. On the ground of proper need assessment and feeling of ownership by local government, the project was easily adopted by the service providers and easily came in use for the beneficiaries. In a program of Jalbire PHC, house speaker himself had attended the program. Thus handed over equipment are working well as there was a proper top up operational and clinical training and also a huge demand by the doctors and people.
